一気に解説です。 こちらの本、再度、来週水曜、11時からの英語絵本読み合わせ会で、見直してみようと思っています。(zoomでの40分間です。)

YARN is an old-fashion ( seldom used today) word for a story, using told orally. Example, a fisherman telling a “yarn” about the “big” fish that got away. So, substitute the word “story” for “yarn” and the sentence is easily understood.

今、フィリピンの友人とのSkypeでの英会話3人レッスン、計画しています。30分ほどです。彼女と私と？基本あともうひと方。一回300円、月2回ほどの予定です。Skypeなのですが、基本 会費の受け渡しが直接できる方になります。(何回かまとめてでも大丈夫です。)我が家に来ての一緒の画面も大丈夫です。(振込みだと振り込み代の方が高くつくので)。
